Nora Khaldi

Nora Khaldi is a mathematician with a PhD in molecular evolution and bioinformatics obtained at Trinity College Dublin. Her masters in mathematics was obtained at Université Aix-Marseille France. Nora’s research has focused on protein evolution and comparative genomics, spanning a diverse array of species from bacteria and fungi, to mammals. She worked on secondary metabolites in filamentous fungi, these can be either important drug precursors, or can be highly toxic causing billions of agricultural loss in the world. Some of her publications received high access rating, and were placed in a library of the top 2% of published articles in biology and medicine.
