Bernard Machavoine
Founder of Novimmune, and former professor and director of the Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva, Bernard Mach is the inventor of cDNA cloning and is specialized in the molecular biology of immune response genes. Bernard was co-founder and member of the SAB of Biogen (1978-1992). He was Chairmanof the Lombard Odier Immunology Fund Scientific Advisory Board from 1994 to 2002. Former member of the Board of Directors of Serono and former board member of Lonza as well as Scientific Advisor to various institutes and companies. He was a Member of the Swiss Science Council (1974-1984), is a special member of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences and is a Member of the French Academy of Sciences. He is now Chairman of the SAB of Aravis Venture Associates.
