Adam Fleisher
Adam Fleisher joined Eli Lilly as Medical Fellow in 2020. currently serve as a Medical Director of Phase III global clinical trials, and previously as Director of Global Medical Affairs, AlzheimerвАЩs team, for Eli Lilly. From 2008-2014 I was the Director of Imaging at Banner Alzheimer's Institute where I managed the imaging center and cyclotron facility, the computational imaging laboratory, and functioned as a site investigator for dementia clinical trials. I continue to care for patients at the Banner AlzheimerвАЩs Institute memory disorder clinic, and hold an academic appointment as an Associate Professor, Department of Neurosciences, at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where I served as the Medical Director of the Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study from 2003-2013. I received my medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, New York, and obtained my general neurology training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. I then completed a clinical and research dementia fellowship at UCSD, as well as a Master's degree of advanced studies in clinical research administration. I am published in both MRI and PET imaging (FDG and Amyloid), as well as clinical trials in AlzheimerвАЩs disease, with a research focus on influences of aging and genetic risk factors for AlzheimerвАЩs disease and predictive biomarker development in cognitively normal elderly adults.
