Stephen Moss

Stephen Moss is a Professor of Neuroscience and Director of the AstraZeneca/Tufts Laboratory For Translational Neuroscience. He is a neuroscientist with specific expertise in the study of inhibitory synaptic transmission, with a particular focus on γ-aminobutyric acid receptors (GABAARs) and the construction of inhibitory synapses. In 2003 he was recruited as a full Professor to the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. Later he was recruited as Professor and Associate Director of Corporate Alliances to the Department of Neuroscience at Tufts University. In addition he is co-director of the AstraZeneca/Tufts Laboratory For Translational Neuroscience - a new venture based at Tufts University.
