Lab focuses on the biochemcial mechanisms of autophagy and apoptosis in mammalian cells. Knowledge from studies helps to identify drug-able targets and screen small-molecule compounds to interefere these activities, which should provide novel therapeuitc tools for the treatment of human diseases including cancers.
