Mary Matthews

Mary Matthews is an award winning health tech entrepreneur with a passion to use technology to improve lives. Prompt by Memrica was developed in partnership with people living with dementia to help improve social confidence and maintain social activity. I was one of the UK's earliest advocates for using games to engage people in supporting their own health and well-being and was instrumental in establishing the Serious Games Institute at Coventry University. I am endlessly curious and love to explore new ideas. I started life as a broadcast journalist and still love to question, synthesise information and communicate complex ideas with simplicity.
