Naima Health was spun out from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh to develop and commercialize the MyHealthyPregnancy app. The team of leading decision scientists, machine learning specialists, and maternal-fetal health clinicians created this tool to help pregnant women minimize their risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes – including preterm birth. MyHealthyPregnancy integrates individual-level input, statistical machine learning, and user-centered design to deliver a personalized, engaging, and effective risk assessment and support tool with specific focus on improving outcomes for the most at-risk women.
