SLU physical therapy students further develop skills learned in class. It also allows collaborative interprofessional communication between physicians and physical therapists, and gives back to the St. Louis community by providing physical therapy treatments free of charge.Students are able to evaluate and treat any patient who has been referred to physical therapy by a physician, either from an outside provider or within the Health Resource Center
