The Department of Health Protection (functioning as the Institute of Health Protection until September 30, 2019) was established on June 1, 2001. It was composed of the Department of Physical Education, the Department of Physiotherapy and the Department of Nursing, existing from the very beginning of the University's establishment, within the structure of the Institute of Humanities.
