This is the scientific research activity funded by the Ministry of Health and aimed at developing fundamental knowledge over time in specific sectors of biomedicine and public health. It follows specific lines that establish the Institute's priorities and allow researchers to operate according to a precise reference framework. It is a dynamic context, which evolves according to the progress of knowledge and biomedical research. The current research program for the three-year period 2018-2020 is divided into four research lines , each of which includes specific thematic areas.
