The Oncological Reference Center promotes research in the biomedical , biotechnology and health services in oncology with the aim of identifying new models of prevention, diagnosis, assistance and therapy. The activities range from epidemiology to preclinical and clinical research, up to diagnosis and patient care, also considering palliative care. Research activity is promoted from a translational perspective, that is, by promoting the transfer of laboratory data to clinical practice and vice versa.
