Statistical analysis using computer programmes was initiated in the year 1972 with the introduction of the IBM data processing machines at IVRI, Izatnagar with the installation of a Micro-32 computer (ECIL) research data analysis in all areas of veterinary sciences, preparation of slides, graphs etc. have been facilitated. Apart from research, teaching and training in the field of information technology, this section is also responsible for implementation of advancements in this field at this institute.
