The Townsville Hospital and Health Service produces a number of publications and strategies to inform our community about our performance, achievements and our vision for the future.The Townsville HHS works closely with a number of other care and education providers to help provide world-class care and research to the benefit of our community.Within the context of the inpatient hospital setting, occupational therapists work to maximise patients’ independence and/or participation in the activities they need and want to perform in their daily lives. The goal is for a smooth, safe and timely discharge, with appropriate follow up and monitoring in the post-acute period.
