Biosphere has more than ten years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food biotech industry, scientists, and technical staff developed skills ranging from microbial fermentation process development, to process scale up and recovery of products. Biosphere provides qualified contract R&D and manufacturing services for the production of microbial biomass, enzymes, and metabolites. Biosphere collaborates with companies, universities, research institutes and scientific networks in several research projects, with private or public funding. The contract R&D service is mainly addressed to the study of new enzymes for the pharmaceutical sector, the improvement and innovation of traditional products and valorization of by-products in the food and feed sectors, the study of innovative solutions in the field of green chemistry and renewable energy.
