Toor Company

toorPIA, their software engine, lets anyone analyze big data just like Windows let anyone use a computer. With toorPIA, anyone can analyze big data without help of data-scientists. Moreover, toorPIA will improve the cost and time efficiency by 10 times compared to data scientists. According to Mackinsey Report, 490,000 data scientists are required in US in 2018. However about 1/3 is short in supply. This is our primary market. In addition, much bigger markets will be created through cost-down with toorPIA. toorPIA consists of three modules. Most important module is iterra, which produces a map of data based on the mathematical "distance" between data. Also it can automatically extract multi-correlation factors of any domain in the map. Then customers can find unknown things hiding in the data. Other modules are a quasi-hierarchical clustering module and a big data framework providing high cost performance in enterprise circumstances. toorPIA can deal with any kind of big data such as, text, POS, log and sensor numerical data. Some interesting applications have been developed. As to text data, patent analysis commercial service using toorPIA called R&D Navi was already launched by Cybernet Systems Co., Ltd. in September, 2013. Without patent search skills, any engineer can easily check the patentability of his new idea by comparing it with millions of US and Japan patents. As an attractive toorPIA application to protect IoT networks from DDoS springboard attacks is being developed. A toorPIA server distinguishes DDoS packets from normal packets and filters those DDoS packets. Only thing to do in IoT networks is to modify the rout setting. As a sensor data application, road damage diagnosis system is being developed. Car vibration caused by road surface damage is detected by an event data recorder (EDR) in the car. The data is sent to a toorPIA cloud server to be analyzed. The damage state of each road segment is shown in different colors on a real road map. A commercial system is being developed with support of a local government in Japan. Those applications are being developed without data scientists. Thus toorPIA will fully utilize big data and change the world.
