Grand Challenges Canada is an organization funded by the Government of Canada that supports bold ideas with big impact in global health. They focus on integrating science, technology, social, and business innovation to bring successful innovations to scale and improve lives. They work closely with partners such as the International Development Research Centre and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research to catalyze sustainability and impact. Grand Challenges Canada has supported over 700 projects in more than 80 countries, resulting in the improvement of over 26.3 million lives and the saving of 85,700 lives through innovative products and services. Their goal is to continue scaling these innovations and saving even more lives by 2030.
