Nymbl Science Company

Nymbl Science training helps maintain and improve balance for a better quality of life, at every age. We exist to fight the belief that aging is "less." The company's mission is to use medical science and mobile technology to improve balance and prevent falls. The Nymbl System leverages validated studies, plus its Chief Scientist Dr. JP Farcy’s 35 years of clinical experience to provide a mobile-based balance improvement solution. Nymbl is a scientifically validated digital balance training program that will prevent 1 million falls. It’s an effective and engaging way to train the brain and body to work together, using just a smartphone and in only 10 minutes a day, allowing older adults to preserve and enhance their freedom and enjoyment of life. Up until now, balance training programs have been expensive and high-maintenance to implement and haven’t been appealing or scalable enough to be effective. In the US alone, there are 16MM preventable falls at a cost of $50B every year. Nymbl is the proven way for people to see real and lasting improvement, so they try it and stick with it—and then keep living their lives. Falling doesn’t have to be a natural part of getting older, but using Nymbl should be. Nymbl is the ideal partner for Medicare Advantage plans and other at risk health organization systems who are looking to impact older adults through actual reduction in fall risk by empowering real world balance improvements at scale. We are currently partnered with 3/5 largest payers in the US. Our global reach is expanding with New Zealand launching the platform as well. Nymbl won the 2017 Prime Health Competition, as the most promising health tech startup in Colorado. We received offers from Kaiser Permanente, University of Colorado Health, Centura, and SCL Health for pilot programs, all of which are proceeding. These key healthcare organizations are looking to reduce falls both in-patient and out-patient, and also use our measure of balance as a "vital sign" to improve population outcomes.
