Checkmate Diabetes ^Company

Our mission at Checkmate is to provide people with diabetes a source of extrinsic motivation by employing gamification and social platforming to reduce life-threatening complications that result from insufficient disease management. We created a social platform to help motivate people with diabetes to check their sugar levels the recommended number of times a day. Users create a network of friends that serve as motivators, competitors, and cheerleaders. By either sending encouragements or being the highest ranking friend in your network, Checkmate provides daily support to those living with diabetes.
