Octovis expand the capabilities of nursing staff with live-streaming two-way video and real-time delivery of integrated medical device data, direct to a remote physician. Our Bluetooth enabled devices include a stethoscope, pulse oximeter, EKG, blood pressure cuff, otoscope, and a dermatoscope. These devices are connected to an Android tablet that live streams video between the nurse and remote physician (they connect via web browser); in addition to the data from the devices. The nurse can also don Vuzix smart glasses to transmit a live stream of video at their perspective, providing ‘eyes on site’. Organizations can use their own physicians, our partner PSO, or even a hybrid of both. We’ve built a robust platform between the nurse and physician, integrating into EHRs and providing intelligent dispatching algorithms to handle many concurrent encounters with a pool of available physicians. Our customers experience an increase in efficient, available, and effective care that helps them to drastically reduce hospital readmissions while providing more physician coverage than previously possible.
