FizzioFit Pty Ltd is a Brisbane based IT, physiotherapy and physiology company designing exercise therapy, fitness and health education resources for healthcare professionals. Exercise medicine is a new vision encouraging healthcare professionals to use physical activity, targeted therapeutic exercise and general fitness as a core component of a patient’s treatment and prevention. Exercise prescribed to meet the differing needs of medical, health and lifestyle conditions has been proven by research to improve patient’s quality of life. In Australia we have major health challenges with an ageing population and an explosion in chronic disease. FizzioFit has recognised that the healthcare professional need resources to better execute prescription and monitor the performance of their patients. FizzioFit is developing resources to assist in the education and delivery of appropriate, accurate and effective exercise prescription, follow up and professional communication.
