Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund Investors
The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF) is a government initiative launched by the British Business Bank to support small and medium businesses in the North of England. NPIF aims to bridge the North/South divide and create economic prosperity in the region. It provides commercial finance through three types of product funds: Microfinance, Debt Finance, and Equity Finance. NPIF has successfully facilitated over £1 billion of direct and private sector co-investment to new and growing businesses across the North of England. It is a collaboration between the British Business Bank and ten Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) in the North West, Yorkshire, the Humber, and Tees Valley.
