Family Wellness Center is often described in medical school as the ability to care for 90% of conditions that come into the clinic. Family Medicine training then encompasses specialties with emphasis on holistic care in an outpatient setting. Family medicine physicians have had training in diabetes, coronary artery disease (CAD), orthopedics, and obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN), however not all physicians choose to continue working in obstetrics. They are an independent, physician-owned group of providers, educated and experienced in the care of patients of all ages, and committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective medical care.
