Aide is a health technology company with a mission to maximise the effectiveness of prescribed care. Our focus is on the unsustainable trajectory of healthcare utilisation caused by long-term conditions. This represents a challenge that costs the NHS £50bn and the US health system $1tr each year. Today, 70% of all primary and acute care spending is on long-term conditions. Aide uses conversational AI to help improve self-care alongside clinical decision-making for chronic disease. Specifically, Aide is designed to address the rising human and economic cost of comorbidity: individuals with two or more long term conditions which happens over 50% of the time. Today, Aide is live in NHS England supporting those with Asthma and Type 2 Diabetes.
